When is optomism bad? When there are unrealsitic expectations. This article is a little frightening. By expecting too much we could find ourselves repeating history. Prices will rise but I hope it happens in a slow steady manner in reflection of market stability.

Chinese Drywall Is a Growing U.S. Problem

This bad drywall is appearing predominately in areas with high humidity and warm summers such as along the Atlantic and Gulf coast, Colorado and California. The states of Louisiana, Mississippi and Florida have been especially hard hit with this blight. This drywall is not found just in new homes. Homes that have been remodeled, especially those with repairs for hurricane damage, are susceptible. This update from The New York Times.

Buyers Are Cutting the Fluff
