Good News may be coming for homeowners who are "weatherizing" their home and updating appliances to more energy efficient devices.
The program proposed by President Obama has been unofficially named "Cash for Caulking." Under the program costs for upgrading appliances, installing new windows or insullation would reap a 50% rebate from the government. The proposal has a maximum $12,000 rebate.
This program is aimed at two problems; boosting employment and reducing our energy needs.
