Sandhill Cranes winter each year in the Willcox Playa (Cochise County, AZ).

Over 40,000 Sandhill Cranes were counted in the Sulphur Springs Valley this winter. This is a record number. Sandhill Cranes are among the largest birds in North America with wing spans of 6 to 8 feet. They can be seen flying in the valley as they go from their nesting site to feeding grounds. A great way to learn more about these birds is to visit Willcox during their annual festival “Wings Over Willcox” in January.

According to Zillow, the low was 4.25% in South Carolina and the high was the District of Columbia at 5.13%. The national average is obtained by surveying lenders and considering a $300,000 loan with 20% down and good credit.
