Survey participants were asked to rate their overall satisfaction with their lives and how they had felt the previous day (to gauge their happiness in daily activities).

1  Denmark
2  Finland
3  Norway
4  Sweden
5  Netherlands
14  United States
17  United Kingdom
44  France
81  Japan
125  China

Does this list surprise you?

Video Tour of Douglas, AZ

Filed under: For Fun — Tags: — Don Grafues @ 10:04 am

I stumbled across a video tour of Douglas, Arizona presented by “Visit Cochise County,” self described as “An Unofficial Visitors Guide to the ARIZONA towns and cities of Cochise County.”

The tour of Douglas shows the interesting early to mid 1900’s architecture. The home we have listed on 12th Street fits right in with some of the pictured residences.

The Gadsden Hotel is worth a visit if for no other reason than to see the forty-two foot long Louis Comfort Tiffany stained glass mural.

The Arizona Memory Project is providing on line images of some of the documents uncovered in Bisbee in the past couple of months. One is the court clerk’s hand written transcript of testimony given by John H. Behan, Sheriff of Cochise County, Arizona Territory in 1881. Sheriff Behan was a witness to the gunfight at the OK Corral.
